Happy New Year 2019! I chose three words for my Words of the Year: Discover, Explore & Enhance. In 2019, I'm focusing more on my digital work, learning some new apps in depth and discovering new ways to process my images. I'm taking a break from the weekly mixed media project. That's not to say that I won't be doing any mixed media at all, but that it will be more spontaneous and not as structured, and I'll be exploring ways to do some of the things I do digitally. In recent years I've spread my limited free time in too many directions, so this year I'm choosing to focus on one area and hopefully excel in it. Mixed media requires a lot of prep and clean-up for me, whereas digital is a lot more accessible, no matter how short on time I may be.
So this year, I'm taking it easy and looking at new ways of doing things... wishing you all the best in achieving your own New Year's goals!
