Inspirations: Digital Art + Mixed Media

2015 Words & ATC 52

For my 2015 project, I've decided to keep doing ATCs, but only one a week. It's still my favorite format, but I want to explore a greater diversity of projects this year. One ATC a week means more time for art journaling, larger works on canvas and some digital/mixed media hybrid projects I've had on the back burner for awhile.

To kick off the project, I chose my words for 2015: Illuminate, Imagine, Inspire, Create & Live. The words are chosen to set my intentions for what I want to focus on this year, and I created an ATC for each of them to make a ring-bound booklet. I've also decorated an ATC Book Box to be my home for the cards this year. ATC 365 - December Highlights

And so this challenge comes to a close... and it definitely was a challenge! But I'm happy that I was able to stick with it, and I got some really good cards out of it. I've got a similar project in store for 2015, but I'm taking a break from the 365 aspect.

Happy Holidays!

Tonight is the first day of Heliogenna for me. ( http://www.iskios.com/page82/page82.html ) I celebrate a 3-day version because I'm not able to get any time off at this time of year to do the full 9-day version.

Tomorrow is the Winter Solstice, the center of many holidays from many traditions. Whatever you celebrate, make it a merry one! I'll be back in the New Year with some new projects to share... thanks to all who've followed along!
